How your data is handled

MaxPassword is built so that we, the developer, have no way to read your information. Here is exactly what happens to your data and how we use Google services.

    Encrypted before it ever leaves your device Your passwords are encrypted locally with a key only you can produce (your master password). We never receive your master password, your encryption key, or your plaintext data.
  • 📂
    Stored in your own Google Drive — app folder only If you turn on sync, the encrypted vault is saved to a hidden, app‑specific folder in your Google Drive (the drive.appdata scope). MaxPassword cannot see, read, or touch any of your other Google Drive files.
  • 🧭
    Used only to sync your vault We use Google Drive solely to store and retrieve your one encrypted vault file so it stays in sync across your devices. That's the only purpose.
  • 🤝
    Never sold or shared We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties. There is no advertising and no profiling.
  • 🗑️
    You stay in control You can delete your vault at any time and revoke MaxPassword's access from your Google Account settings whenever you like.
